2016 Cement Mason Apprenticeship Classes

As Winter Classes have wound down, we would like to thank the Apprentices & Journeyman that attended the CPR & First Aid Training. Also thanks to the Associated General Contractors Association for sponsoring the Fall Protection, Scaffold Safety, & PPE Seminar. Both were excellent presentations & we learned a lot. With classes being over for the Winter, the focus is finding jobs for our 10 new Cement Mason Apprentices. If you see them on the job please welcome them to Local 514, share your knowledge, & lend a helping hand. Looking forward to an early start this season.

Mon. Feb. 1 is the first day of classes with new Apprentices at the Training Facility in Flint. The AGC of Michigan will be presenting PPE, Fall Protection, & Scaffold Safety Training on Mon. Feb. 22 at 9am. CPR & First Aid Training will be held Mon. March 7 at 10am. The classes will be held at the new MI O.P.C.M.I.A. Training Center, 2630 S. Grand Traverse St., Flint, MI, 48503.
